The list of suppliers with validated EVM systems is a compilation of suppliers with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) determined by DCMA to be adequate as of the stated date to manage the contract for a major acquisition. Such a determination of adequacy, that the supplier’s EVMS complies with the EVMS guidelines in ANSI/EIA Standard – 748 (the current version at the time of the determination), is made as of a date certain, generally, the date of the assessment of the EVMS. While these EVM systems have been determined to be in compliance with the EVMS guidelines in ANSI/EIA Standard -748 as of the stated date that does not ensure that they will be in compliance on a subsequent date. If you want to rely on the most current information on a supplier’s EVMS before contract award, we suggest that you contact DCMA to discuss the current status of the supplier’s EVMS before selection for contract award.
