Early Involvement - PIs and
PST members should always be alert to future customer requirements and
programs. To the greatest extent possible, all organizations within DCMA
should team with Program Offices by providing Acquisition Planning Support
Services (APSS). Our early involvement fully supports the DoD's End-to-End
procurement process.
- Typical
activities include development of acquisition
strategy, RFP reviews and contract structuring, IPT
Pricing, source selection, and pre-award surveys.

Activities can occur throughout the
span of the pre-award period. DCMA's greatest
opportunities to assist in crafting acquisition
strategies are found prior to Milestone B - "Program
Initiation".

Activities can occur in any
appropriate setting/venue.
