EVM System Status (INFORMATION)

New Information/Guidance/Tools:
- The purpose of this memorandum is to remind ACOs of the
requirement to submit EVM system status annually to the DCMA Headquarters
EVMS Performance Advocate.
- Information is reported 30 days after annual
surveillance has been accomplished or when the system status changes,
whichever is earlier.
- The ACO should ensure the EVMS Supplier Validation
List is accurate and current as it relates to their supplier.
- The EVMS Supplier Validation List is used to:
- Provide information to DoD acquisition personnel for
use in source selection.
- Ensure supplier's EVM system is in compliance with the
EIA 748 ANSI Standard.
- Ensures data produced by the supplier's EVM system is
reliable for Program Manager decision making.
- This information is
applicable to DCMA instruction
process for Earned Value Management System - Reviews, Paragraph 3.3.
